When attaching a word or excel file to an email message,
the attachment comes across as an unreadable file.
Always called WINFILE.DAT.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Change the Outlook Email file type to text. You most likely have it set for html or rtf.

Tools>Options>Mail Format:
Change message format to Plain Text.
