I have a user and everytime she clicks in Outlook 2000 (sp3) contact find box in the toolbar, Outlook generates an error and shuts down. Any sugguestions??? I have looked on the knowledge base, she has no add-ins, I created a new PST file and imported her old mail and contacts, and that seemed fine for awhile until she started using the Search box on the toolbar. I have repair and uninstalled office even using the utilities to remove office files that do not get removed in a typical uninstall. I am tapped out, any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Strange. This should of been taken care of with the release of SP1. One work around you can try is removing QuickFindMRU found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Contact\QuickFindMRU

Once you restart Outlook it will recreate this key. -Brad
