Dear Team,

I have some issue with Assistant and I want to re-install the Assistant.
My Question is as follows.

1: Do I need to backup any think from system before I reinstall assistant,
2: If I re-install the Assistant will I loss any data or License.

What about hotfix.

after Assistant re-installation, all assistant hotfixes to be installed.

I was not able to find hotfix file, is there any way to copy from running system and then reinstall After Assistant reinstalling.

no, you should download hotfixes from Partner Portal.
just reinstall the Assistant and show the release here, so I'll look for the corresponding hotfixes for you

if the SSP for your system is active - you should to update the Platform first

But you have mentioned that I should upgrade the platform first. How can i upgrade platform,

The V8R2 is actual now.
but SSP (Software Support Protection) to be active for your system. The soft for update is very big, so, you should check the SSP first. If the SSP active, you can update your system to the R2 software.

unfortunately you won't be able to update the release from V8R1 to V8R2.
but if you don't have any problems - you can continue using R1, or buy one year SSP and raise the release to R2
