I used the guides and cannot seem to figure out why calls connected internally to the network work fine, but when I connect outside the office there is no audio. Both internal and external show as connected via VoIP fine on the mobile device. Split DNS has been set-up with onex.abc.com and ipo.abc.com. ipo.abc.com is set in the sip domain name field of the IPO. I also put this in the sip registrar fdqn field. This field was never present in other releases so I wasn't sure about that. The public IP address has been manually entered in the STUN fields. I did notice the DNS is incorrect and will fix that tonight, but I don't think that would cause no audio on externally connected calls. SIP registrar, SIP auto create extension, SIP Remote Extension are all enabled. User's all have Power User licenses with the proper profiles checked: Remote worker, One-x portal, one-x mobile. All ports from the guides have been forwarded to there proper endpoint: 5222, 8443, 8444, 9443, 5269 all forward to one-x. 5060, 5061, and rtp ports forward to the IPO. The IP Route is created properly as they have VPN IP phones working fine. Dealing with an android device as the test if that makes a difference. Any guidance as where to look would be appreciated.

Firstly I would change the ports used for one-x mobile to something over than 5060/5061, it is never a good idea to have these port numbers open to the world, especially with SIP auto create extension turned on - you are asking to be subjected to fraud. Amend the ports to something else and change the firewall accordingly, the app will sort itself out.

In 11, the SIP Registrar FQDN field should be your FQDN - ie ipo.abc.com - and the SIP domain name field should be the domain only - ie abc.com.

Saying that 99% of all no speech issues are caused by the firewall.

Add th WAN ip addres in the STUN tab as well and in One-X set the Server URL to the used URL.

What are the UDP ports used for audio? Be sure that range is open and forwarded. SIP ALG must be disabled in the router.

Thanks for the responses. The WAN is set in the STUN tab, and the One-x URL is in One-x. The RTP UDP ports are being forwarded and SIP Transformations are not enabled (it's a sonicwall)in the firewall. I do think it is a firewall issue though. We are going to run wire shark and see if it gives us some info.

We have changed ports. I just listed 5060/5061 in this as it is what the manual states to use (and default in the IPO).
