I am doing a Google talk integrated OXP for one of our customers. Got it working like a charm and he loves it so much he's upgraded a 4 site SCN to R9 with OXP licenses for the users to get this done.

I can get it working on our kit, but OXP won't let you add a contact just for this use, you need to put a phone number in (put in a fake number and sometimes the contact disappears). Also, if the contact is not on OXP, then the chat bubble isn't there (but does show the correct presence for the GT user) so the OXP user cannot initiate the chat. They can quite happily reply to messages sent from outside though. If they are a true OXP user with a GT account, it shows both and can start the chat to either GT or OXP chat.

Soooo,

Should the chat bubble be there for outside GT contacts?

Any ideas why contacts with a fake number and a good GT ID don't stay within personal contacts? (I might add I only got out apps server off a trial build tonight though. Been a bit lazy!!!)

Needless to say the docs on this a little grey from what Ive found.

I think that One-x should be active for this.
I tried it once with my own credentials but that is about it.
One think to check is the option for some kind of timeout (the same place for external XMPP)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
