One X Portal Call Assistant

I have a system ( 6.1) with oneX portal installed. when we install call assistant ( configure:install one X Call Assistant)

the system works, however if you shut down the PC it will not stop the proccess and keeps the PC from shutting down.

I thought it was some software the customer was using so I went back to my office and it does the exact same thing.


anyone seen this or have a work around ( short of killing the proccess or manually killing the program everytime)


odd things
if you right click on the icon and exit it, it will then allow you to shutdown
if you dont open call assistant ( but it is running in the task bar) it will allow you to shut down
as soon as you look at it once, you have to kill it in order to shutdown.

For me it works fine on Windows 7.

no one else useing this, or seeing this?
 
I am having the same issue on one of my user's PC. I have not really had the time to look at it yet. Once I do, I will update if I find anything.
 
We have this problem on win xp sp3. You need to close call assistant before you can shut a pc down.

Its the only work around I can imagine until a new version is released.
 
This must be a bug.
Raise a case for it.
No program should prevent a pc or server for a shutdown or reboot when you want to.

I have seen this issue too.
It did not happen on all pc's but i did not check them all.
Did you ever raised this as a bug?

I jsut saw the 7.0 GA candidate resolved errors and this problem is fixed in 7.0
