hi all,
I am getting a strange error on a client site and I was hoping maybe someone else has come across this before.
The application is run over the network with a shortcut on each client pc.
The problem is happening on only one pc, when the user double-clicks on the icon she gets "ole object is invalid or corrupted"
If the user deletes the shortcut icon and recreates it the problem goes away until the pc is rebooted.
Does anyone have any ideas

Thanks

Aiden

Aiden,

Does the message come up as soon as she clicks the icon, that is, before the VFP app starts to load? If so, it is almost certainly a corruption in the shortcut(LNK) file, or the file containing the icon.

To eliminate some variables, trying creating a shortcut without an icon. If that works, try grabbing the icon from a different file.
