Old dos database-need to export to Office

I have an old dos database and I want to convert it or copy it or even better, I want to export it into excell or Access. Can anyone help me? Thanks

I don't have any options in the dos program...The data file is a .dbf..what I am trying to do is really inport the info into Quickbooks, so I thought I needed to try Open office or Excell first...
