Where does the ring voltage come from on this office com. Is it part of the power supply? All analog lines do not produce ring voltage.

There is a small switch on the power supply, it says 50Hz, 25Hz and 20Hz. Put it on 25Hz, sometimes there are 4 small dipswitches put number 2 ON (to the left) and the rest OFF.

If thats OK, and it still isn't working then your power supply(ring generator)is dead.

A nother test, call the analog extension no ringing sound pick-up the hook it there speech then mostly it's the power supply.

thanks for the tip, would you know the part number of the ring generator power supply?
thanks again!

Been there, done that with the OfficePro. Those power supplies are a bit flaky. You have to replace the entire power supply, as the ring generator power is part of it. I looked for a part number but couldn't find one quickly - sorry.

Like donb01 says, replace the whole power supply.

If you have a power supply of a Office point, 3350 or 3550 they will also fit.

Outstanding! replaced the power supply came out of my first experience with that switch looking like i knew what i was doin. Way to go guys thanks again!!!!!

I have seen a lot of failures in Office Point (not Office Point 150e/h) but the standalone Office Point.

In fact, of the three systems I take care of the only hardware problems I have seen is/are power supples. 2 of the 3 have needed replacement.

Interestingly the failures were both different and neither was the ringing supply!
