Norstar VM issue: This mailbox is not initialized....

when calling one of our regional office workers, her line rings 4 times and the AA picks up and says: "This mailbox is not initialized and cannot accept messages. Exiting the system... goodbye".

hat does this mean and how can I correct this (via RAD programming)? Their maintenance tech had already went ahead and cycled power on the MICS (but not the star talk itself) before she called me but that obviously didnt help.
 
sounds like there is a phone that has the FNA to voicemail after 4 rings and the mailbox is not initialized. Check all phones that have the lines ringing and that have the FNA to voicemail.
 
I went into the RAD and checked Capabilities>Call Forward> and Forward No Answer was set to None and same for Foward if Busy. If ths is set wrong, I have no idea how it got this way and what mailbox its supposed to be set to.

Some of the other users Forward No Answer is set to DN500 (which i assume is the extension the VM is punched down to) but if i change her to DN500 in FNA, I still get the same message except at the end it will x-fer me to a general mail box for this location.

Something is really screwy here. She says her phone does not even ring. I am starting to suspect that she swapped her phone set around with another one while Set Relocation was active too.
 
Yep, too much work for one day...
Update: The user just emailed me and said she thinks somebody else (yeah right) swapped her phone out because the desi's look different now and it says 203 on it instead of 243. I have her hunting down her old set to swap back right now. If this doesnt work then I'm dispatching a tech to the site... and disabling Set Relo... it seems to cause a lot of probs like this.
 
Did you have her do F*0 then intercom to see what her EXT really is?
