Norstar- sending broadcast messages 1

How do you send broadcast messages in a Norstar? Who has the ability to do so on a system?

iF YOUR TALKING ABOUT VOICE MAIL, YOU SET UP THE GROUP LIST FEATURE IN THE VOICE ITS BEEN A WHILE BUT i THINK THE FIRST GROUP LIST IS 901 THEN YOU ADD MEMBERS TO THE LIST.

Enter the System Coordinator Mailbox number
and password, then press OK .
Press 9
At the tone, record your message and press OK
to end your recording
To listen to your message before sending it,
press PLAY
Press OK to accept your recording. The
display changes to show Msg delivered .

So your clear use Thecomings method if you would like to setup groups, sometimes you dont want messages to go to certian people.

To over ride and send to all mailboxes use Perrypj's method.
Technicaly is called System Manager ie MB 102 or 1002 etc.
This mailbox controls the password for F983.

Thanks for the info. I would like to use the System Manager MB to do this but can I access this MB remotely to record or am I only able to record on-site?
If not, then I may have to set up a distribution list.

You can access it remotley.
You can also close the business and change greetings form it via 99 when logged in.
