Does anyone know what it takes for a Norstar M7310 set to be able to answer a ringing line by just lifting the handset, no button press required?

The set has to be programed to appear & ring not just appear

Lines you want to answer at that particular set have to be programmed to appear/ring and yes, also be sure you are in the handset port of that set.

There is no programming for ringing line preference on a Norstar system. If the extension is programmed to ring, then you automatically have ringing line preference and can answer any call that rings that extension by just lifting the handset.

you need to set your prime line to what you want..Default in IC..If you Prog to just ring they will ring in on IC and when you pick up receiver it will answer incoming call.
