Norstar CAP Module Dead after Relocation 2

I recently moved a Norstar 7324 and CAP Module from one office to another office and the CAP module stopped working.

Any ideas as to what I could have done wrong?

I moved the cross connect from the old jack to the new jack. The line cord is connected from the wall jack to the CAP module and the 7324 is connected to the CAP module.

The CAP modules require a power supply, on the third pair I believe..
If you check the old location I'll bet you find one, probably in the equipment room.

Station Auxillary Power Supply is necessary for a Central Answering Position module and is 10 Volts DC on pair 3.

Also check the Station Cord is 6 or 8 conductor, otherwise the power doesn't get from the jack to the phone. ;-)

One thing I remember from Norstar installation class:
"You always need SAPS for a CAP

Actually the correct voltage is 24vdc. Only 4-conductor cords are required for one CAP. 6-conductor cords are required if using two CAPs on the same phone.
