Norstar ATA2 FAX

Hello
I have a Norstar 3x8 DR 5.1 phone system. I Connected fax machine to ATA2 adapter.

ON Fax Machine I can see incoming call but not receiving the fax automatically. IF I lift the handset can receive a fax.

Is the fax machine set to auto answer?

Or set the ring count as to when it should answer.....choose minimum 2 rings to capture caller id.

Caller ID won't pass though an ATA...

Make sure the fax machine is set to "Fax Only".
