Hello all,
I've inherited some problems with the office Nortel Norstar system. We don't have a telephone sysAdmin and really can't afford one, so I'm the one that has to set it up now.
I've setup as much as I can but have hit a roadblock.
When someone calls into the office and asks for a person's voicemail, I need to have an option to allow them to reach the person directly via sellphone (by pressing 7 from the VM message prompt)
Now I've set it up to the point where this "almost" allows this, the issue is, once the caller reaches the proper mailbox and presses 7, they always get the message "the routing resources needed for this call are busy."
What am I doing wrong?
For example, setting up my own mailbox to do this:
Feature 981
Password
Admin
8 (outbound xfr)
Admin
Changed the outbound number (212)xxx-xxxx
Transfer
n
Quit
When I call my office number, transfer the call to voicemail and press 7 to get it to transfer to the outbound nunber, the recording states "the routing resources needed for this call are busy"
Please Help,
Ed
