I am trying to configure the night service mode on the IP Office SOE.
The Firmware is 4.109.

The problem is when the night service time profile is active on the system (specified time) the incoming call gets a continous ringing tone and then goes to voicemail.

I am trying to configure the night service mode to work, such that when a caller calls between 1900-0959. The caller is routed to the night service AA.

Below is my current config.

Please advise on what i am doing wrong.

Config

Incoming Call Route
Default is set to Day AA.
Then i have set a second for Out Of officee which is set to Night AA
No fallback extention has been configured for Night service under the Incoming Call Route.

The NightAA is configured to play the recorded message together with two menu options (1 to leave VM, 2 to see if any one is available)

Time Profile
Morning 1000-1159
Afternoon 1200-1759
Evening 1800-1859
Out of Office 1900-0959

Thanks in advance

Your out of office time profile is incorrect. You can't have the time profile go over two days. If it goes from 1900 hrs to 0959 hrs the next day it isn't correct. You need to go from 1900 hrs to 2400 hrs and 0000 hrs to 0959 hrs.

this is really common. i have seen 3 threads in the last two weeks. as kurt says but 2400 doesnt exist either it will be 23:59

Sorry was just going off the top of my head. Also here is what help says. They are mixing the time standards.

A time entry cannot span over two days. For example you cannot have a time profile starting at 18:00 and ending 8:00. If this time period is required two Time Entries should be created - one starting at 18:00 and ending 11:59, the other starting at 00:00 and ending 8:00.

he he you are doing it again...!!

one starting at 18:00 and ending at 11:59 should be 23:59.

is this c&p from the manual??

good old avaya. never mind programming bugs but bugs in the manual, takes it to a new low!
