Hey all,
I recently invested in a laptop (Sony Vaio) running XP pro. I also have a desktop running XP home. Using a crossover cable and Acton card, I thought I might network the two for file sharing purposes. My problem is that although the network connection seems to be present, I can't access either terminal from the other, even though file sharing and security is set to allow it.
Whenever I try to access the other terminal in Network connections, I get a message stating that I don't have permisson to access this terminal, and to see my administrator for access.
What does this mean, and more importantly, how can I fix it?
Any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kev.
