You can configure PIX to a netscreen but please make sure that you are using group 1 or group 2 for the diffie hellman key exchange. Sometimes PIX does not work with group 5 anothe tip is do not enable PFS group in netscreen and PIX first make the tunnel if it is working then go ahead and enable PFS if you want.
