Customer with IP500v2 R8.0.18 doesn't like annoying beeps. Haven't decided on external music source yet. Is there a way to get just dead silence to be heard? Thanks for the help.

Change the source to external and have nothing plugged in to the MOH port. Or you can find/make a silent WAV MOH file and upload it to the IPO.

In your Voicemail Pro wavs folder c:\Program FIles\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\wavs\enu or c:\Program FIles (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\wavs\enu there is a file called 905.wav that is a properly formatted blank/silent .wav file. Copy that and rename it to holdmusic.wav then use that as your new MoH file.

Depending on your setup you either drop it in the Manager folder or upload it to the Primary folder on your SD card.

Hmmmm... can you hear silence?

Anyway, most people will think the person on the IPO side of the call has hung up and in turn hang up as well. I would try and change the customers mind a little.
