I have a digital station that also rings to an analog cordless phone using brdg-appr on the Line appearance of the analog phone.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a second digital station ring to the cordless without using coverage? Is there a way to add buttons or line appearances to an analog station?

maybe terminating extension groups? have one group with digital phone A + analog, another group with phone B+analog, have the extensions of group 1 as an additional extension in A's mailbox, same for B.

You'd probably want to replace their extension that people know and call them on and use their current extension for the term-ext-group.

There's probably other ways too, like coverage answer groups - say phone A has cov path 1 with coverage point c1 for coverage answer group 1 of which A+analog are members. You'd have to ring the digital phone a few times first though.

Term-ext-groups would work if the config would stay that way forever. Otherwise, you'd want to think about some other things if they want to do it when A is on shift and not have B's calls ring the analog when B's off, etc.

Thanks. I ended up using a coverage path with the "terminate to coverage pts with bridged appearance" option.
