In opening an email from my Inbox to read, when I close it it dissappears (is deleted) from my Inbox. What can I do to retain emails in my Inbox. Any ideas?

Check that your view isn't "unread messages" and that you don't have any filters ser.

Per your other thread if your view is set to "unread messages" then that is why they are disappearing. Change the view to "messages". This should show all your messages.
As for telling if you have any filters on it should tell you in the lower left part of your status bar.

Ms Outlook 2003 / MS Exchange 2003 issue. When sending an onsite (internal email) i am having back a delivery error message, so email never reach recipient. When I open the email that contains the error message i click on "forward" and send it and this time the email is delivered with no errors.
