Hi, we are in the process of moving a Definity G3 with ISDN PRI. We have a spare system we plan to temporarily put in it's place, but we would like all calls forward to the existing voicemail system. There are 150 stations programmed in the phone system and instead of re-programming all of them in the spare system, is there any way to forward the entire DID range?

Thanks as always.

In my opinion Todd you have 2 choices. You could have another DID range built up and have your CO to forward to this new range (On you temporary switch) or you could build the new translations up in the temporary switch and do a swap out on a weekend. The calls coming into your switch are routed to the voicemail system, so just sending them to your voicemail system wont work. The cheapest (and I feel best) solution would be to program the new or temporary switch with all your existing translations and plug in the cables and be done with it. This way you could use your same numbers and do translations once. I am pretty sure that using ASA and coping your translations to your new switch would save a lot of time too.

Hope this helps.
