Does anybody know any other softphone implementations then YA?

LCS Communicator and Xten (Generic SIP). Both tested and working.

And I need it to work with TW server...

No, won't work. It won't be able to pass TW authentication (i.e. TW password).

You can use LCS without a TW gateway, and have it operate without a VPN. Microsoft supports VPNless connections for LCS clients.

1. LCS Communicator uses SIP as I can see. In this case I have to use LCS instead of TW, because I don't want to expose ICP to the Internet.

2. Xten is about the same.

3. It's not that hard to trick the TW server and avoid TW password entry. Use any 52xx phone, register it and then change the MAC address in the config file manually.
