We have a mitel micollab virtual appliance running 6.0 sp2.
When a call comes in to a fax ata when the fax is engaged the ata returns sip 486 busy here to the Mitel appliance. Mitel changes this sip message and returns sip 480 temporarily unavailable to the pri sip trunk. The caller hears that the service is temporarily unavailable from the PSTN switch.
Why is mitel changing the sip message? The appliance should be returning either in-band busy, or sip 486 busy here to the pri sip trunk so the caller hears busy tones.
