What would be the minimum acceptable bandwith/speed of the the internet be, for Remote IP phones to work properly?

Is there a document stating this?

Hard to tell. would depend more on the quality of the ADSL. QOS over the internet-good look with that!!

I would just say the more the better!

Are you using standard IP phones over a VPN or the VPN Remote firmware???

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

You need to be sure that there is QOS on the line (QOS= quality of service)
Otherwise you will have a bad connection

Here you can calculate how much you need

8 KB is just fine per active line
We've got it running without qos, just a policing in the cisco and limiting 1 conversation per IP line at a speed of 128KB 1:10 overbooked.

be warned; NO other data flowing around thexepct the usual VM pro calls
