Certificate warning on 9641 phones

Hi everyone!
Im getting a identity certificate warning in 9641 phones. I already renewed the certificate and the phones pick up the new one but i still get the warning about the old certificate.

Is there a way to get rid of the old certificate that doesnt involve clearing the phones? there are many phones of that model and it's not an option we are really considering.

Please be more specific about the mentioned expiring certificate.

Probably the message is about a certificate in trusted store that is expired. You will probably see more alerts in SSA.
