I read in the tech notes that 5.0 MR1 has a fix for reports being so slow. I'm wondering if 5.1 has those mr's included?

Yes, you should be able to run straight from 5.0 to 5.1; it should be cumulative.

They also just released the PMA on 5.2 so that should be available for download soon, which adds support for the mTable/mStation to 3700.

Correction, it is available. You can go straight to 5.2 from 5.0.

You have helped everyone on this board so much, I hate to ask, but, any chance you would mind posting that update?

I'll post it later. If you plan to use it on a production machine.. well, I wouldn't, not for a while at least. I just ran the upgrade on my Lab and already am seeing some problems. The database didn't upgrade properly for one thing. Hopefully it isn't something major, but I don't think it is really ready for a live installation quite yet.

Oh ok... It is in production. Im trying to solve the problem that was addressed in MR1 with the reports lagging. But dont want to cause new issues Thanks for the heads up! You think 5.1 is stable?

Actually, it looks like the problem the installer for 5.2 was having is that I had replaced a MICROS file it was trying to update, but couldn't verify that it was the correct file. So I copied over the original, and all is good. Running just fine. There are also a list of things that it fixes. Whoopie!

And yes, 5.1 has been very stable with us so far. The only thing that was iffy was the reporting, and that was as simple as re-validating all of our custom reports against the database, and good to go.
