Hey all.. i recently took over a micros system from a closed business. I do not think they ever opened on sundays so it may be possible this system isnt set up correctly for sundays. (im opening today for the first time on sunday) I notice in "schedule classes" that "end of night" is checked for sun, tue, wed, thur, fri, sat. And "weekly reports" only has monday checked. Is this going to cause a problem like maybe EON needs to be checked for monday also??

Thanks for any help!
Jeff

JeffnLR,

Assuming your using Micros 3700...

Change "Schedule Date Type" under the "General" tab within Schedule Class (POS Configuration / Reporting / Schedule Classes), to "Daily." This will grey out all dates and force your reports to go through nightly.

If your licensed and using Credit Card processing, you should make sure your Auto CC Batch is set to "Daily," as well.

On a side note, are you using the same name? A lot of Micros is attached to the business name, so some functions may be disabled (SIM/CC) depending on if you made any changes...

Hope this helps!

Happy New Year!

Hey and thanks for the help! yes it is micros 3700. And we do use a different business name but we have had the micros guys out to switch everything over and we use our own cc processors.
In schedule classes i have "101 end of night" and "103 weekly report" and "105 post totals" and "106 no schedule" and "107 payroll reports" and "108 monthly reports" and that is it. Im guessing they never had a auto cc batch setup.
I just wanted to be sure i get this right. So i need to set "101 end of night" to daily in the "schedule date type" drop box right?

Yes, that should then setup all your reports properly.

Happy New Year!
