merlin legend ipflex inbound routing

i'm installing a new att ipflex. is there a specific service related to inbound calls? in previous pri installations i have found " no service" or "any service" normally works. i have no joy trying to make test numbers ring in. details are appreciated. tia

The most important parameter is the switch type. Dollar to a donut that AT&T is set to NI2. You must insist that they do 5ESS/AT&T Custom, or DMS-100. Go to the FAQ section of this forum for some troubleshooting tips, including

Verify with the vendor that the Switch Type is correct, and that the appropriate protocol is being used. The protocol for the DMS-100 and other Nortel switches is NTNAPRI. The protocol for 5ESS and other AT&T switches is AT&T Custom. Also for DMS 100 switches the L1 flag in the Trunk Sub-group table is to be set for Yes.
