I'm a little confused about the maximum volume size for Windows Server 2003. I'm in the planning phase for our disk based backup solution. The backup device will be a 10TB SATA array. I'd like to carve out a 3.5TB partition for each of 3 servers as targets (Media Agents). Can I present a 3.5TB partition to Windows, or do I need to cut that in half, present it in 2 partitions and create a dynamic spanned volume? I know I can go up to 256TB volume sized under Windows 2003, but I'm not sure if that's the actual partition size, or the dynamic volume size.
Thanks.
Thanks.
