Master Reset on a NT DMC 80 or 320 3

Hi all, does anyone know how to master reset a DMC 80 or 320, the customer has changed the PW and he does not know what it is. I hope someone can help..John

Hi Rick, the controller. I dont care if i loose all the programming its only 6 7440's. the pw was default(default) ha ha.. tried battery method but could not get it to cold start. there is no documention, and dont want to make the customer pay for the Nortel charge..Thanks for any help anyone has..jk

I know the docs came on the MICS 7.0 & 7.1 CD's.

On the first one I installed, I expected to find a separate CD with the DMC hardware, and got egg on my face when I started a thread here saying I couldn't find it.

I'll see if I can find that CD again, and look for your answer.

Thanks for looking Rik, but its not in any of the documentation. I think it is something you need to call nortel about, We are a authorized NT dealer(BCM and CS) but there are somethings that you need "the password of the day" and nortel will reset the PW for you, but ITAS has a $600 fee for help(that is why i hate NT, sometimes!!) If i find out what it is i will post it... Let me know if there is any help i can give you..jk
