I have a peer to peer network of Windows 2k machines and I am mapping a folder from another domain. Each time I log onto one of my workgroup pc's it asks for a password to the share. I found the mapped drive and username logged in the registry. Does anyone know if there is a registry string that will insert the password like it does the username? I am tring to make it act like an XP machine does with the remember password check box.

I thought 2k did remember this - oh well, you could try net use in a logon script to make the mapping.

Problem is I have several sites that have this same topology and I don't want to create 9 logon scripts per site.
