Windows Explorer in x32Win10ProV21H1 is showing a CDrom icon for USB sticks or one of the partitions of large drive. I know how to correct the icon by means of an autorun.bat, but I want to avoid the error in the first place.
It turns out that Windows allocates the ISO icon to whatever is drive D. So ensuring the drive letter D is changed to something else prevents the allocation of THAT wrong icon.
