My customer has a Magix with MLX sets. They have 2 DLC consoles and all of the CO lines are answered by an Auto Attendant. What they want to do is if a caller presses 0 the call rings to the main operator position and if the call is not answered it goes to vm box for the operator. You can call the oper ext. and get the vm but I can't seem to get the 0 out call to go to vm. The 0 option is set to go to x2200 which is the oper. What happens is this.. the 0 out call rings in on the SA button and after 5 or so rings it starts ringing on the line button. I figure I am missing something. Thanks in advance!

Hi Merlinman,
Actually she does have a mailbox and coverage. I can leave her a message by dialing her extension or using direct vm.

OK, now that I think about it, this could be an interaction of TRANSFER RETURN.

For the SYSTEM (Printed in System Setup) take a look at VMS Transfer return and see if that is set shorter than the Group Cover Delay.

VMS Transfer Return Interval is set to 4 rings
Transfer return is set to 9 rings and the Group cover for x2200 (OPER) is 5

I changed the Group cover for x2200 to 4 and it works. I think the better I get at IPO the more old stuff I forget!!
Thanks for all of your help!!
