log on using tracker 1

I have tried hyperterminal and procom plus.
After getting as far as
>1
OK
the login screen does not appear
ie can't type in user & pass and, therefore, can't login

Procom has been tried on various settings [vt100, ansi etc]
It is now on 4410 8nI 9600
;CC confirms 8n1 9.6 is correct

what's going on??

On some older systems I found that you may need to set your baud to 4800 and/or turn off compression. Everything else you've mentioned sounds right.

I believe this toggles parity on the link between tracker & Definity - and what ever it does it resets the link and has got me out of trouble once or twice.

def1: first class! that did the trick on both the problem definitys i have at present: a first class fix that worked first time without a problem
