The system is 1+ years old and when it was put in, Avaya set up a COR 5 called "800,911,local" I just added a new station with that COR assigned to it. No dice. The extension can't call out for local OR toll-free. (I didn't test the 911 part). Called AVAYA support and they told me it was billable?!? (heed that as a warning to test all your features right away!)

I've been scanning some of the postings - and the FRL, ARS, Dial Routing and Time of day is all quite confusing??

Here is what the COR 5 is set up as:
FRL of 7
Time of Day Chart 1

Under displ syste feat the Time of Day Routing is ON.

Any clues where to start looking?? We have a Definity G3 w/ an S8500. Several Agents, Vectors & Queues, so I don't want to screw any of that up?!?

Thanks in advance for any input!

-Dennis

Changed the COR 5 setting to
Calling Party Restriction: all-toll

The local calling is now successful, but the toll free call was denied. Can't do 800, 866, or 877 calls. Will test the 911 after all of the other settings are correct. Those guys don't like too many "tests" to dispatch.

check the ars toll list, or change the 1800 ars entry to use p1

Changed 1800 ARS Entry to use P1 and that did not work. The following is the DISPLAY TOLL 1800:

Dialed Toll CDR
String Min Max RCL List FEAC 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
1800 11 11 x x
1800555 11 11 x x

Thanks rgtrgt!!

To summerize the solution for all searching the forums for the exact same reason, here is what ended up working:

CHANGE COR 5
Calling Party Restriction: all-toll

CHANGE TOLL 1800
"unchecked" the Toll List Column

CHANGE TOLL 1866
"unchecked" the Toll List Column

CHANGE TOLL 1877
"unchecked" the Toll List Column

-Dennis

PS - Know of a way to make sure 911 works for ANY phone (including the above COR 5) without having to "test" it?

send it out p1, to be sure you may have to test, but explain when they answer that you testing 911 complaiance.
