Have Call Pilot 100 3.1. Was using routing to transfer calls externally Trunk to Trunk. Customer not happy with sound quality. They have tranfer/conference capabilities on lines using flash hook. Call Pilot says you can do Link Transfer by putting # in front of number or doing 9#42(Then Number). My Problem is how do I tell Call Pilot not to look for another line. Under CCR Options are line/pool/route. Same for outbound tranfer in mailbox. I've tried each. Gives me (The Routing Resources for this call are busy, please try again later)

Thanks In Advance!!

If your lines have the ability to do a link transfer than you are on the right track. It will force you choose a line & than as your phone number just put in a # before your 7 or 10 digit phone number. The # will force the call to use the incoming line to do the link transfer.

A # in front of the number will indeed use flash transfer. The # tells the voicemail to immulate the feature 71 (link transfer). Test the line using feature 71. I have seen telco's tell a customer they have "transfer" ability when all they really have is the ability to do a 3-way call. If you can't hookflash transfer an inbound call using F71, then you don't have true transfer abilities on that line.. Test, Test, Test..

In the CCR, or Outbound transfer from a mailbox: Use Pool 1, dial #npa-nnx-xxxx.. Thats it..

Pacific Bell has a feature called "call transfer disconnect" that it offers for 1MB lines. It is the same as the CENTREX outside call transfer.

I've a lways found that #542... then number as you would normally dial it (with or without leading 9)... works just fine. Use Pool 1 (system will use whatever line call came in on anyway). Just using the # sign will usually work but the extra digits make sure dial tone is returned and a pause is inserted.
However...as DBrewsky states, a simple test first with Feat 71 is a good idea.

I have the oppposite problem, please see my recent post today under CS1000.

I am getting anexternal call Forward that I do not Want. Please help! thanks
