In reference to this: thread940-1660096

I am trying to setup a "Night" button to control the rings at night for a setup with Line Ownership. Currently the calls go to extension 10's VM after 5 rings. At night they would like to press a button (Night) and it would then not ring the phones but go directly to the Mailbox 10.

With the Partner ACS we always did this but used a DND button rather than a "Night" button. The DND button in the Basic Edition did not control the ringing for the Line Ownership.

Any ideas?

In basic mode, every phone that has that line ringing on it would need to have dnd active in order for it to go immediately. Even though you have assigned line ownership to x10, if x11 rings for that line it will still ring unless x11 also has their dnd active.

Great info here. Here's a star. Well, I guess I will force the customer to use an AA with a Night key!

I've been in that situation before and convinced the client to use an AA instead with a 0-out to x10.
