IX Workplace - "Your messages may not be up to date"

Any way to disable this or remove this error? They are not using the app for messaging - just calls.

Never mind on this one - updated to the new FQDN on One-X and error went away.

Hello,
We had similar issuue. We opened a SR and we disabled messaging following the suggestion of Avaya engineer :
"Messaging Icon can be removed from workplace, and this be controlled using 46xxsettings file.
Option - SET ENABLE_IPO_PORTAL_MESSAGING 1 (enables IPO messaging)
SET ENABLE_IPO_PORTAL_MESSAGING 0 ( disables )

When you disable IPO Portal Messaging icon will become invisible." .
When you change 46xxsettings , you have to reset to default Workplace Application & program it again.

Since 11.1 FP2 (IIRC) you are able to use 46xxspecials.txt

... and if you really want to go off-piste, manually edit the configdata.xml file in C:\\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Avaya\Avaya IX Workplace

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
