Hi,

I have and IPO 403 with one of the POTS ports attached to a modem. The trunk lines are analog lines. Before the IPO install, the modem would get >50K speed when connecting to a particular computer. Now, the modem never gets more than 29k and frequently needs to be redailed since it never connects the first time.

Any reason why the modem traffic thru the 403 would be restricted to 29K? Any settings I should look at?

Thanks for your help,
Chris Zinck

This is a common compliant when you move the modem from a CO line to a POTs extension on a number of PABX systems not just IPO.

You a better off to add some ISDN lines to your IPO403, you will get a lot better speed out of you modems.
