I am trying to insert a layer onto/into a centered table, the problem I have is when I preview and resize my browser, the table moves and centres with it, but the layer stays at the point I positioned it, is there a way to make the layer move with a centred table when you resize your browser?

You can't insert a layer INTO a table, only the other way around...A layer floats above any tables which are on the base level which is why it isnt moving when the table does. For effect you want, insert a 1x1 table instead of a layer. This should center with the other table. Nick Price
