I am almost certain that a T1 and E1 licenses cannot coexist in the same controller box unless there is a locale or country in the world outside the US that uses T1 and on top of that also uses E1, but I am second guessing myself because I saw an old design that I personally created and somebody's else design that suggest you can.
Besides having two separate IPO controllers one setup with locale US and the second setup to locale anything else beside US is there any other way of making this happen under a single controller box?

Doubtful. I also doubt any provider could give you both.

I tried many ways to create and it seems you are correct, it is not possible. We live in south Texas and I have heard from IT guys that some providers that have presence on both side of the border do offer US lines in Mexico via T1, what really ticks me off is that anybody in Mexico with a good credit card or paypal can purchase T1 licenses here in the US without much hassle while my experience purchasing E1 licenses in Mexico or anywhere else is always been very complicated and requires expensive wire transfers or cash only plus it takes forever to get them.

Just been trying to get a UK system to see a T1 PRI card and I can confirm that nope you cannot have a T1 and an E1 on the same system as the card is the same and it's type is set by how the SD card is created on setup (ie A-Law will give you E1 and U-Law will give you T1).

I installed an E1 in Mexico using an US SD card, never even crossed my mind to check if I needed a-law or u-law and I was able to get it up and running, the only thing different that I had to do is to create an offline configuration with Mexico as the locale, merged it then loaded up the licenses and bingo I was all golden.
