As a possible work around, you can use an analog extension on the IPO500v2, connect it to an available trunk position on the Panasonic .Hi,
How can I integrate the IPO500v2 with a Panasonic using a physical connection
I have 4 analog trunks in the IPO500
I will connect physically, because I do not have a SIP channel licenseWhich Panasonic are you looking at? In theory you could link the trunks to analogue extensions ports on a Panasonic but far from a good idea.
The usual way would be IP based which would need the correct hardware and licences at each end.
"Is it possible to split the four ports on the IP Office, 2 for outgoing calls and 2 for receiving calls from the Panasonic?I would connect 4 single line extensions from the Panasonic to the 4 analog trunks ports in the IPO. The analog ports can then be put into a line group that rings where you want, or whomever they want. At the Panasonic, you would want to program the extensions to not dial 9, as you will need to dial a short code from the IPO. That way users don't have to dial two codes, if you want to use the Panasonic lines for out dial. The analog trunks can be programmed to ring wherever desired, and the Panasonic users can xfer calls to the extension they desire.
connection between the two PBXsCould be an issue as they are no longer sold for system pre R10.
Do you just want dial between extensions or do you want to dial out?
