One of my users has uncovered an issue with mobile twinning - if a user swipes decline on their phone for a forwarded collective call-waiting hunt group call the cellular carrier sends the call to VM and stops ringing the group. If they just let it ring, and no one else picks up, the call is correctly sent to the group VM box in VMPro.
My assumption is that this is working as designed - from IPO's perspective, when the carrier sends the call to mobile VMail on the decline event, IPO sees it as the call has been answered (by someone) within the voicemail no-answer time.
The request from my users is this - can we have IPO play an announcement when a twinned call is answered, like "this is a forwarded call, press 1 to accept", or something similar?
Our previous hosted system, Zang, actually DID have this feature, and it would solve the problem, since a declined call would go to cellular VM, but since cellular VM wouldn't respond with DTMF "1", the PBX wouldn't recognize it as being answered.
Thanks in advance - I'm a long-time lurker, but just signed up specifically for this issue.
