Customer with IP Office v2 9.1.3 for IPO and VM Pro. The customer has complained several times over the past few years that the VM Modules get replaced with other VM Module configs. 10 Auto Attendants with 10 different times, call flows, etc. After making misc time changes, the customer notices that 3 or 4 Modules all have the exact same config. I cant seem to duplicate or see how this can happen. I can only see a copy/paste of a whole module and the customer says they never copy/paste anything in there. Any one else ever see strange things like this in VM Pro?

Tell them you want to just manage it yourself, I'll bet it doesn't get messed up anymore :-)

2nd Amriddle
This is almost certainly customer error
Do they have more than 1 person administering the VM Pro?
Do they use remote desktop to connect to the VM Pro server to make changes?

either of these could result in corruption of the call flow database

Also why are they makeing so many changes?
Is this a regular swap betweeen modes of operation? if so it would be better handled by conditions on the VM pro that are activated & de activated as needed

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Sometimes when you go to a different module than it will not refresh the screen and you overwrite the module with the previous one when you save after that.
Going to a different module and back (and look if it changes) will fix it.
Do not save if this doesn't happen!!!

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks all. I suspect user error too but its tough to tell the customer that.

peter is right, that happened to me on a R9 system once, hasn't happened on any other customer. the screen never refreshes from the module you were on to begin with, make sure the screen changes when they change modules.

It happens to me on every install!
You really need to make sure that the screen changes when you click on a different module.
If you doubt than just go to a different module and go back.
I happens so often i might even make a little movie of it.
