Hi guys this is my first post with Avaya pbx so i will try to be as clear as i can.

I have connected an Avaya IP Office v500 rls8 with a meridian option 11E PBX with a pri cards(local) and a Qsic protocol both ways.
I have a VM pro server with and i am using it as a Voice Mail server for the Meridian telephone system.
I have created fake users in my IPO and i have forwarded all the users to the voicemail. On the Meridian pbx i have forwarded each one extn with a fake user from the IPO so for them to have voice mail after 5 ring lets say.

My problem is that i can not turn on the lamp on the phones of the Meridian pbx so the users to know they have voice message.
I am working it only with outcalling from my VM pro server with time intervals but it becames very annoying to the users

How is this possible to be done since the extns of the Meridian pbx are not listed under the users section in my IPO manager
As i mentioned before i have created fake users in my IPO manager

Pls help thanks in advance.

Don't think you can turn the ligt on, you can fwd it to email or add a Pxxx (xxx is the extension on Meridian) in the source number of the user in the IPO for voicemail ringback.

Try this tool, install it (open the readme first!) then in the Avaya Manager goto system > SMDR enter the default port 8891 or change it in the INI file.
It will be saved as a CSV file.
