Ip office to index voip problems

running ip office ver 2-1-73,index ver 9-2-2 and ipnc ver 2-2
when a call is originated from the index to the ip office everything is fine
however when the ip office generates the call,the called party at the index cant hear you but you can hear them
we have a 20 ch vcm in the ip office and a 5 ch ipnc in the index
the link between the two systems is a 1 gig laser link

I seem to remember a post about this from Alan24.

I think he upgraded the INDeX to level 10 and that sorted the problem.

You need IPNC 3.3 for that and then you need INDeX 10 for IPNC 3.3 to work, there is a difference in H.323 protocols between IPNC 2.2 and IP Office.
Be aware that you cannot just upgrase the IPNC to 3.3, it's a special procedure.
Upgrading INDeX requires a addtional rel 10 license.
If you're going to upgrade then go for level 11.
