Newly installed IP Office 500v2 with latest 9.1.4 software. Users were stating today their phones were randomly ringing other users and vice versa and when the users picked up each was saying the other user called them or they didn't call the user. I initially though it was auto callback but after showing them that feature they said it happened after that and they did not hit auto callback. I have seen other posts on here regarding this random calling. Was there ever a fix? Anyway to turn it off?
This post said it was turned off and cleared but i see no way to do it? Thanks.

Start running call logs, start running monitor logs.

Hopefully its just staff playing silly buggers with the new phone system. Someone has found they can login as someone else and make calls, misusing the default follow me shortcodes to redirect calls, maybe they got hold of IP Office TAPI drivers (you didn't say if anything like one-X Portal was installed) - hit that person if you can identify them, else step up the security on user passwords, logins, etc.

The worse case scenario is that the silly bugger is outside the company - is the IP Office connected to the internet? If yes, it may be external scanning for open interfaces.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Don't forget while checking the directory if you go off hook it rings the entry you're viewing. This is staff playing I would bet :-)

Thanks for the replies. We will monitor today. Hopefully its just the customer getting use to the new phones.

It is going to be people going to contacts and then instead of pressing the phone button to exit, they pick up and put the handpiece down. This means the phone calls the user and then hangs up instantly.

Probably.... if only there was a label on the phone so it was obvious what the buttons did...... :-)

I had this happen for a large site customer, users would hit the contacts button just to check it out, but would then pickup the handset to make a different call, I ended making a phantom user with a full name called "1Press Phone Icon to exit" or something like that to be the first entry. Before that, the poor person that was first on the list was getting all these random calls of people hanging up on them.
