Having a problem with the configuration service login in to ipoffice manager 5.2. I'v rebooted server were manager app is located and ip406 units and still unable to access. I am using a default administrative passsword that I know has been working. Any help appreciated.

You can default your security settings by going onto the dte port and doing at-securityresetall

That will default your settings.

You cannot use a password revealer on 3.2 plus, it is encrypted, if you try and reveal it it says better luck next time.

i just tried the passwrod revealer on 4.0(7) and it worked fine.

if it works then still you need to get in to the system with a password
security settings are onthe ip office and not in a config
a solution is to open the config with a 3.1 manager (or older) and then use snadboy
BUT don't make any changes with the older manager

i know, but what i am saying is go to you manager working directory, open your configuration, and use the password revealer.

!!! but if the system has been upgraded to IP Office 3.2 or higher, then the password for configuration access isn't in the configuration file anymore, so it really is magic if you revealed it. And the one that could be revealed in older configuration files isn't the one used for configuration access anymore.

I think you may revealing vm passwords or something?

We are talking about the security settings. These passwords cannot be revealed using snadboy etc etc.
