Have an IP Office, using the embedded Vocie Mail. The system clock is not correct, always 2 hours off. We have tried opening our firewall and pointing to an external clock server and still can not get it to show the correct time. We are using all digital sets, no IP sets. Is there a way to set the system clock on an IP office that has no PC's or Internet Connection hanging off of it and is just used as a telephone system??

Thanks

Have you tried opening manager on a pc on the same subnet as the IPO and rebooting the IP Office ?

It will get the time off the PC

On DT handsets you could make the phone a system phone and change the time through setup on the screen.

I help manage this site remotely along with others that are remote. I do not think I can get on the same subnet when I VPN into it. I will ask out network guy.

The system phone sounds like an option. How do you designate a phone as a "system phone"? Can I use one of the existing users phones or a conference room phone? What are the steps?

Thanks,

Joe

System phone option is under the user/telephony tab

This only works on 2030/50 type phones which use DT modules

It will put setup on the screen. Then you will have options for date and time.

System phone also works on old style 4400 sets.
